What are the top jewellery trends of 2025? As we step into the new year of 2025, the jewellery world is buzzing with excitement, and rightly so. This year’s trends strike a perfect balance between timeless elegance and bold, modern, innovation.

The pearl trend isn't going anywhere. However, forget about the prim and proper pearls, like Margaret Thatcher's, Theresa May's or your Gma's, think more Kate Middleton and her love for baroque pearls, layering like Rihanna or minimalist which with a twist like Emma Watson.

Sustainability has always been key to me, but it isn’t just a buzzword in the jewellery industry anymore - it’s a movement, and it’s truly transforming the way jewellery is made. When I started making jewellery almost 10 years ago, I had to search high and low for recycled and fair mined silver and gold, eco-friendly practices as well as packaging etc, now this is much more accessible, thanks to greater consumer demand as well as designers wanting to push for a greener future as well. Yes, it does come at a greater cost but doesn't it make you feel good to know that by investing in a beautiful piece of jewellery you are also be kind to the planet?

By supporting jewellery brands with a strong sustainability ethos, you are not just buying jewellery—you’re making a statement and being an agent of change.

A sixth jewellery trend, to add in at the end, is only for the women gifted with fabulously thick hair, - I sure ain't one of them. Jewellery style hair accessories are big in 2025, think big gold or silver bangle style hair clips etc. This trend didn't warrant its own section, as it falls more under hair accessories, however, as this trend is BIG, I just thought I would let you know : )
