Freshwater Pearl Necklace - Summer Loving

Follow the steps below, but bear in mind that the size and weight of a pendant, the style of the necklace and your individual neck size will impact on how a necklace sits:

1. Decide, where on your neck you want your necklace to rest.
2. Measure and cut a piece of string to the same length as the necklace you are interested in, or better yet use one of your old necklaces for measurement.
3. Place it around your neck to see where it falls, if the necklace your are interested in has a pendant take the extra length into consideration.

14 inches - 35 - 36 cm

16 inches - 40 - 41 cm

18 inches - 45 - 46 cm

20 inches - 50 - 51 cm

Follow the steps below to determine the right size bracelet for you. Bear in mind, that beaded, pearl and chain bracelets fit best when slightly loose to allow for movement.

1. Measure your wrist.Use a flexible measuring tape or a string against a ruler.
2. Wrap the measuring tape around the thickest part of your wrist. - If you use a string, mark the point on the string where the ends meet with a pen. Measure the marked string against the rulerr.
3. Add 1 - 2 cm to your wrist measurement for a comfortable and elegant fit.
4. Most RAW bracelet can be custom fitted free of charge, please note custom fitted items cannot be returned.

Pearls and gemstones love to be worn but dislike chemicals. After wearing, wipe gently with a damp, soft cloth to remove oils or perfume residue.

Never soak pearls or gemstones nor use detergents.
Store them flat in a soft pouch — away from other jewellery to prevent scratches, use your RAW Copenhagen jewellery pouch.

Keep your silver bright by wearing it often - the natural oils on your skin help prevent tarnish.

When not in use, store it in a sealed plastic bag or soft pouch.

To clean, gently polish with a soft cloth or a mix of mild dish soap and warm water. Dry thoroughly before storing.

Gold vermeil is a thick coated gold plating on Sterling silver in accordance with industry standards, however, whether gold vermeil or thinner normal gold plating, you best preserve the delicate gold layer by avoiding perfumes, lotions, and chlorine and other chemicals on your jewellery.

After wearing, wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth.

If needed, clean with a little warm water and a drop of mild soap — no rubbing or silver polish. Always store separately to prevent scratching.

Gold-filled pieces are more durable than gold-plated but still appreciate gentle care.

Clean occasionally with warm water and a drop of mild dish soap, then pat dry with a soft cotton cloth.

Avoid abrasive cloths or jewellery dips — they can dull the shine over time.
